Various dates and makers, London, c. 1930-35
the black cloth-covered, and leather-edged suitcase with impressed gilt outline initial "G", fitted with thirteen various silver topped glass bottles (some glass bodies damaged) each applied with a gold metal monogram "G", also: a small ivory hairbrush, and a leather-cased barometer (marked Rood, London), spaces for seventeen further accoutrements, the case 61 x 48cm (24 x 19in).
