A GROUP OF FOUR DECORATIVE CARVED AND PAINTED WATERFOWL SCULPTURES
Tad Beach, Eastville, Virginia
Comprising: a woodcock, lifesize in early Spring plumage, with wings outstretched, mounted on weathered wood limb, with leaves and moss on base, signed by maker on base and dated 1981; a willet, in flight, in courting plumage, half lifesize with scallop shell, signed by maker on base and dated 1980; a dunlin, in flight and signed on plant stem by maker on simulated sand base with sand dollar; and a great blue heron, standing on mossy base, with weathered tree trunk alongside (4)
