Parts late 17th or early 18th century, with later adaptations and restorations
The hinged cover and sides decorated with various cherubs, masks and birds, a coat-of-arms at opposing ends beneath the swing handles, the front inlaid with twelve low-relief ivory plaquettes fronting nine drawers
