Plum morocco gilt, covers with gilt borders surrounding central arabesques, spines gilt-lettered and -decorated, top edges gilt, by Sangorski & Sutcliffe. Provenance: Geraldine Farrar (1882-1867), soprano, silent film actress and vivacious personality (morocco bookplates).
