This pair of stools may have been supplied to Sir Jasper Cullum, 4th Bt. (1670-1754) following his inheritance of Hardwick House, Suffolk on the death of his cousin in 1720.

A PAIR OF GEORGE I WALNUT STOOLS
Each with a padded drop-in seat covered in yellow velvet, above a plain apron, on cabriole legs joined by a ring-turned H-shaped stretcher, on pad feet, one foot with restored break
