A fine and detailed 1:72 scale static display model of the Boeing B17 Serial No. 297880, Code Letter A
built by B. Thomas with internal and external details including gun turret and waist, tail and nose mounted machine guns, radio and other aerials, plexiglass panels, nose and windscreens, cockpit with seats and instruments, four engines with three blade propellors, lowered undercarriage, landing and navigation lights and many other details, finished in 'polished aluminium', green and red with stars and bars and fine nose art 'Little Miss Mischief' with a painted lady and fifty bombs, one for each mission, mounted on an airfield parking bay with perspex cover. Wingspan -- 66cm. (26cm.)
