In 1938, Betty Wyman, née Elizabeth Calvin, starred in a film called "Vogues of 1938". Produced by renowned film-maker Walter Wanger, it featured the top models of the day in what Mr. Wanger called 'one whopper of a fashion show'. The movie was highly anticipated, and when it opened in New York, throngs flocked to the theaters. This bracelet was a gift to Betty Wyman from Walter Wanger as a momento of the film.
