Lot Essay

Charles Pajol (1812-1891) was a sculptor, lithographer, engraver, who in 1863 exhibited at the Salon a bronze statue of his father, Le Général en chef Comte de Pajol; in 1867, the equestrian bronze statue of Napoleon I and the bronze bust of Comte Bailly de Monthion général de la grande armée.
