Cut for a shoulder stock and with modern custom gold-encrusted and inlaid decoration and engraving, and browned, blued and gilt finish, the figured walnut grips carved and chequered, matching numbers, and signed in gold by the decorator

The engraver Dewil was employed by Fabrique Nationale of Liège for some 30 years, and retired in about 1983. He was one of their top engravers, and carried out the work on this revolver in the 1950s
