A CASED .41 FRENCH DEVISME PATENT SIX-SHOT PERCUSSION REVOLVER
No. 5618, circa 1840-50
With signed blued octagonal sighted barrel engraved 'No. 10' on the right side of the breech, external hammer, figured walnut grips, and plain iron mounts including flat pommel with butt-trap, refinished throughout: in its lined and fitted oak case, apparently English, with some accessories, the lid escutcheon engraved 'Souvenir au Capitaine Delhomme par son frère'
