With narrow curved fullered blade blued for about two-thirds of its length bearing engraved and gilt title GARDE ROYALE DE WESPHALIE (sic) and, on the reverse, five small trophies of arms, the back edge inscribed COULAUX FRERES KLINGENTHAL, leather-covered grip (lacking its wire), matt gilt hilt with ornate basket-guard, together with a relatively wide scabbard with two suspension-rings, good quality reproduction
