lithograph, circa 1825, on wove paper, hand-written inscription by Motte in ink in the left margin, the upper and lower margins apparently trimmed to the plate edges, pale light- and mat staining (showing mostly on the reverse), pale surface soiling, a few soft handling creases in the lower right margin corner, the left margin folded vertically, a small scratch in the lower right corner, occasional scattered foxing mostly in the left margin, a few small tears at the extreme left margin edge, remains of an old hinge along the reverse of the upper left margin corner, framed
