A Japanese bronze model of an equestrian Samurai
Meiji period.
the warrior turned to one side wearing a helmet and armour applied with a mon, grasping reigns between his hand, the prancing steed wearing a saddle decorated on each side with a stylised dragon, rectangular panel with signature to underside -- 15½in (39.4cm) long, shaped wood stand (small separate section to front of helmet missing).
