A WORCESTER 'FLIGHT & BARR' JUG AND PART TEA SERVICE
Circa 1800
The jug decorated with bands of scrolling hops with gilt highlighting and gilt initials "JEC", marked "Flight & Barr Worcester, Makers Majesty to their Majid", 20 cm. (8 in.) high; the tea set with sprays of hops comprising: a teapot and stand, with later replaced silver spout, milk jug, two handled sugar bowl, slop bow, two dishes, ten tea cups, seven coffee cups and nine saucers, one with similar mark, some incised 'B' (34)
