Maker's mark of William Plummer, London 1760
Shaped oval, having a well cast and pierced border composed of scrolls, rocaille and flowers above alternating panels of pierced crosses and quatre-foils, and pierced scrolls; having a swing handle with pierced interlaced design and cast flower and foliage, scrolled ends standing on four scroll and rocaille cast feet united by a pierced flower and scroll ornamented girdle; engraved with a contemporary coat of arms in a rocaille cartouche engraved to the underside with scratch weight 50=12=0
