A pair of Pratt-type models of cows
Circa 1800
Modelled standing to left and right on oval bases, their hides spotted in ochre, black and blue, the first with a girl standing beside it wearing a pink-lined bonnet, pink, green and black spotted blouse, holding a basket of flowers, a black-spotted calf reclining beside her, the second with a young man standing wearing a black hat, pink jacket and ochre breeches, a black spotted dog on the ground at his feet, the upper surfaces of the bases lightly enriched in green and the sides sponged in ochre, black and blue (both with hairline cracks to backs, the second with restored ear and restored chip to base)
