The shaded burgundy field with scrolling arabesques issuing polychrome serrated palmettes together with delicate scrolling floral tendrils and floral vine around light beige medallion with palmette pendants containing similar design, in charcoal-black border of stylised arabesques and floral meander between ivory meandering floral arabesque stripes, outer reciprocal and barber-pole stripes, silk flat cord at each side, signature cartouche at one end, very slight localized wear
