Lot 1 Oporto bottled. Embossed wax capsules, five slightly damaged and nine with signs of seepage. Good appearance. Bin-soiled labels. Levels into neck. Lot 2 Oporto bottled. Embossed wax capsules, slightly damaged, one with remains only and with a depressed cork. Signs of seepage. Bin-soiled labels. Levels: four into neck, three base of neck, two top, one mid, one low and one mid/low-shoulder

Tasting note: Most recently noting good colour, positive fruit, length, and the Tayor backbone. Certainly good. Certainly impressive...Five stars. Plenty of life yet. March 1998. M.B.
