Provenance
Dr Thomas Sherlock, Bishop of London (1678-1761), by circa 1750, by whom bequethed to his nephew Sir Thomas Gooch 3rd Bt. (1720-1781), Benacre Hall, Suffolk, and by descent at Benacre in the Sherlock Gooch family until (probably) the early 20th Century.
