The first, Bellmer 3 Tableaux, 7 Dessins, I Texte. Paris: Documents Surréalistes, 1944. 10 half-tone reproductions of works by Bellmer; and text by André Breton. Signed and numbered 28 in pencil on the colophon. One of an edition of 60. The second, Hans Bellmer: Vingt-Cinq Reproductions, 1934-1950. Paris: Pierre Larrive, 1950. 24 half-tone reproductions of works by Bellmer. One of an edition of 400, plus 15 proofs. Two handwritten letters by Bellmer, dated 6 and 26 January 1954 respectively, affixed to front pages of the rebinding. Also accompanied by an unbound gelatin silver portrait of Bellmer by G. Thiny, signed and copyright credit reproduction limitation in ink on the verso. 6 5/8 x 6 3/8in. (16.8 x 16.2cm.)
