Tahr (Tahr)

Although unsigned and unrecorded in Poletti & Richarme's catalogue raisonné, the pose of Tahr relates closely to that of Kevel (see lots 117-118), and the model is almost certainly an unedited work by Barye dating from the late 1820s or early 1830s.
