A North Italian Renaissance style bone, ivory, and pewter-inlaid fruitwood armoire**
Attributed to Angelo Lanata & Figli, Lavagna, Circa 1880
Of architectural breakfront form, inlaid throughout with geometric patterns, the overhanging cornice above two central cupboard doors decorated with Classically-draped maidens, opening to a pigeon-holed and galleried interior, above four long drawers, flanked on each side by a bevelled mirrored door, the angles with herm figures, on a carved base and turtle-form supports
