The Parisian fondeur and doreur, Henry Picard, was based at 6 rue Jarente, from 1831 to 1839, before moving to 10 rue de la Perle until 1864. The firm supplied services for work on the petits appartements of Emperor Napolon III, now at the Louvre. Picard was known for their fine quality production of pices de table and garnitures de chemine.
