The clock with circular enamelled dial with Arabic chapters and twin-train movement, inscribed h. houbedine & Fils/A paris, within an arched clockcase enclosing an Apollo-mask pendulum and surmounted by crossed quiver and torch and floral wreath, the case with bevelled glazed panelling, fluted by scrolling cloven-hooved volutes, on a laurel-wreathed plinth base with toupie feet, the reverse stamped 47879, the conforming candelabra each with six scrolled candlearms
