three lithographs, 1950, on Arches, Mourlot's first and second (final) states and a third darker state presumably after the final state, Mourlot calls for five proofs of each state and the signed and numbered edition of 50 in the final state, Mourlot does not document the presumed third state, first state inscribed 'FM 6/6 1er etat', 'M 195' and '195' in pencil on the reverse, final state inscribed 'M 195 2e' in pencil in the lower left margin, [third state] inscribed 'FM 6/6 2e etat', 'M 195 2o etat' and '195' in pencil on the reverse, all with wide margins, time staining, minor staining in the margins, stray printing ink in the lower right margin, final state with pale scattered foxing at the extreme left and right margin edges, old glue remains at the reverse of the left and right margins, otherwise all in good condition, all framed
