Standing with the aid of a stick, wearing a long coat, with long pointed beard, wearing a high conical hat with open flaring top, the coat decorated in lustre with roundels containing birds, intact, lustre deteriorated

拍品專文

The same mould that was used to make the present figure was also used for a figure in the Museum für Kunsthandwerk, Frankfurt (Müller-Wiener, M.: Islamische Keramik, Frankfurt, 1996, no.57, p.68). Also, like the present example, decorated in lustre, it is in that example painted on top of a cobalt-blue glaze.
