TWO IMPERIAL EDICTS
THE FIRST ISSUED BY KANGXI, DATED TO 1682, AND THE OTHER BY YONGZHENG, DATED TO 1735
Both written on silk brocade woven with ruyi-cloud pattern-ground, mounted as a handscroll, unfolding to reveal the title Fengtian Gaomin, 'By Heavenly Command', between a pair of five-clawed dragons before the main body of the text, followed by its Manchu translation, the first edict ending with the date twentieth year of Kangxi, corresponding to 1682, and the other dated to the thirteenth year of Yongzheng, 1735 (minor age wear)
