A dish of the same size and design is illustrated by R. Krahl, Chinese Ceramics in the Topkapi Saray Museum Istanbul, vol. II, no. 602. The author cites a further five dishes of this pattern from the Ardebil Shrine, now in the Iran Bastan Museum, Tehran, op. cit., p. 513. Two other identical dishes are published, the first from the Gotoh Art Museum, illustrated in Mayuyama Seventy Years, vol. I, no. 758; another in the Detroit Institute of Art was included in the Institute's exhibition The Arts of the Ming Dynasty, illustrated in the Catalogue, 1952, no. 99.
