A French kingwood and ormolu mounted vitrine
In the Louis XV style, late 19th Century
With the foliate scroll cresting and quarter-veneered frieze above, with glass shelves and burgundy velvet lined interior and enclosed by a panel door, inset with an oval Vernis Martin style plaque depicting a shepherd and shepherdess, framed by ribboned garlands and flowers with foliate ornament below between projecting angles headed with female foliate busts trailing to foliate scroll sabots, with glazed bombé panelled sides
