An extensive Villeroy and Boch Septfontaines-Luxembourg creamware dinner service
1786-1812, variously marked with B above H in underglaze blue and impressed B.L above various numerals
Inspired by Tournai porcelain models, decorated with stylised floral sprigs in blue, the edges outlined in blue, with panels in relief, the borders of the circular objects with obliquely shaped panels (à côtes torses), comprising:
-three large two-handled oval tureens and covers, 30.5 cm. wide;
-a pair of small tureens and covers, on fixed stand, 22 cm. wide;
-a small tureen and cover, on fixed stand, with spoon opening, 22 cm. wide;
-a spoon;
-a pair of two-handled oval pierced baskets, 27 cm. wide;
-a pierced spoon; four circular two-handled pierced baskets, 18 cm. diam.;
-a pair of oval pierced stands;
-four oval two-handled circular stands;
-three sauceboats;
-three spoons;
-two single-handled mustard cups;
-three single-handled mustard cups and covers;
-an extra cover;
-a pair of large spoons, 33 cm. wide;
-a pair of square bowls, 21.5 cm. wide;
-a pair of circular bowls, 25 cm. diam.;
-a rectangular tripod strainer, 26 cm. wide;
-a pair of deep circular side dishes;
-a pair of square side dishes;
-a rectangular side dish;
-three circular chargers, 37 cm.diam.;
-a large circular charger;
