A Chelsea-Derby porcelain covered two-handled gilt cup and saucer
1770-1784, marked with gilt D enclosing an anchor
The dark blue-ground moulded with oblique panels reserved and enhanced in gilt with oblique long stylised leaves, the borders with trailing branch, with scroll handles, the domed cover with scroll ring finial, the saucer with a medallion painted in colours with a cupid amongst clouds holding a flaming torch
The covered cup 14.5 cm. high
