A the Hague decorated Ansbach porcelain composite ornithological coffee and teaservice Circa 1780, variously marked with an under- and overglaze blue stork
Painted in colours and enhanced in gilt, decorated with various birds perched on branches issuing from swards, further enhanced with flowersprays, the borders with arched pendentifs motifs, comprising: a baluster coffee pot and cover with branch loop handle, the domed cover en suite with flowerbud finial, 26.5 cm. high; a bullet-shaped teapot and cover with branch loop handle, the flat cover en suite with flowerbud finial, 12 cm. high; a baluster milkjug and cover with branch loop handle, the domed cover en suite with flowerbud finial, 15.5 cm. high; a baluster milkjug with branch loop handle; a circular sugar bowl and cover, the domed cover en suite with flowerbud finial, 10 cm. diam; a circular broth bowl; two teacups and saucers; six coffee cups and saucers See illustration (14)
