A the Hague decorated Ansbach porcelain neoclassical écritoire stand and a teabowl and saucer
1785-1790, the stand and saucer marked with overglaze blue stork
(Inktstel) gilt and painted in colours with small flower bouquets, the shaped stand with central candleholder modelled as a classical pillar with pink drapery, the sander and inkwell with central cylindrical border modelled with rosettes, the teabowl and saucer painted with medallions enclosing a grisaille cameo portrait in profile of a Roman Emperor flanked by floral garlands, with intertwined handle
