A small Loosdrecht porcelain two-handled oval floral tureen, cover and stand
Middle period (1778-1782), the cover and stand marked M.O.L. above a star in underglaze blue, the tureen and stand further incised with M.O.L. above L 48
Painted in colours with sprays of flowers and various insects, e.g. butterflies, beetles, a dragonfly etc., the shaped borders with rocaille motifs in slight relief enhanced in gilt, the bombé tureen with branch handles, the domed cover en suite with blue mushroom finial, the stand en suite
