The tureen and cover circa 1740 and the stand 1750-1775
The tureen after a silver model and painted in colours probably by Dieul in the Rococo style inspired by chinoiserie examples with exuberant branches and foliage issuing from a pond depicting carnations and pomegranates (décor d'oeillets et de grenades éclatées), further with a butter- and a dragonfly, the border with orange brown interlaced arches, the rectangular handles with stylised Oriental motifs, the associated terraced domed cover en suite with pomegranate finial, the Sinceny stand after a silver model and inspired by Guillibaud Rouen examples and decorated with trelliswork and stylised flowers
