A Dutch Delft blue and white octagonal pastoral garniture
Late 18th century, marked A above PVMV and 2 for Pieter Jansz. van Marksveld at de Grieksche A factory
(Kaststel) moulded in relief with rocaille scrolls, the front with a dotted blue ground reserved with rosettes and with a medallion depicting a landscape scene with a shepherd and dwellings to the background, the reverse with a flower, comprising: three covered inverted baluster vases, the domed covers decorated en suite with bird-pecking-a-berry finials, 34 cm. high; a pair of beaker vases, 23 cm. high (5)
