Circa 1680, the pewter marked probably for Naumburg, Germany
The balustroid body painted in pale-blue with a continuous scene of Oriental figures in a garden, the upper and lower border with stylised leaf motifs, the pewter cover enclosing a medallion depicting dancers and musicians, satirically inscibed AUSEN BEGLISSEN, INNEN BESCHMISSEN (shiny on the outside, soiled on the inside), further marked and dated 1760 and inscribed G.L.Z.M., further with large ball thumbpiece connected to the loop handle decorated with horizontal hatches
