An Italian walnut and figured walnut credenza
19th Century, possibly incorporating some earlier elements
The rectangular top with dentilled rim above a pair of frieze drawers flanked and divided by lion's mask fronted secret drawers, the panelled doors each centred by a lion's mask handle, above a gadrooned apron and on lion's paw feet, with a small label to the inside of one drawer, inscribed in ink VJJ
