A set of six Meissen porcelain pastoral plates
Circa 1770, marked with crossed swords in underglaze blue enclosing a dot
Gilt and painted in colours with a central grass vignette supporting various pastoral scenes depicting children at various pursuits, inspired by Watteau, the scalloped border with green basketwork (Mosaikmuster), framed by gilt rocailles, further with tiny flowersprays, the edge dentilled in gilt (one plate repaired and chipped)
