A pair of Italian ormolu and rouge griotte vases
19th Century
Each with a flame finial above a stiff-leaf cast rim and spreading fluted neck with husk-trails, the entrelac frieze centred by domed paterae and grotesque mask handles, above a waisted spreading, fluted shaft with laurel leaf foot and convex sided plinth issuing bold acanthus leaves, on a stepped soccle with beaded rim, both marked FEV and various parts numbered III, the bases with rubbed inventory numbers '...B...' and '...-1...'
