A late Louis XV tulipwood, bois satine, amaranth, marquetry and parquetry cylinder bureau
Inlaid overall with banded and cross-banded cube parquetry panels, the roll top inlaid with interlaced strapwork panels centred by floral bouquets and a musical trophy, enclosing a fitted interior with four drawers and an open compartment and a gilt-tooled black leather lined writing surface, above three waved drawers, on cabriole legs with foliate sabots, the cube parquetry of the back re-laid on a later board, and with subsequent replacements
