Note:
1. Deng Chengwei, sobriquet name Dingcheng, was a native of Hubei. He was a painter and calligrapher, and had an impressive collection of very good pieces. For brief biography, see Zhongguo Meishujia Renming Cidian, Shanghai Renmin Meishu Chubanshe, 1981, p.1379.
2. Zhang Mingke changed his name from Zhang Guojian. His sobriquet names include Yushan, Gonglai, and Hansong Laoren. He was a native of Jiejian. Zhang was a collector and wrote of his collection in Han Song ge tanyi suolu (Miscellaneous Essays on Art and the Artifacts in the Han Song Studio).
