Gypsies on the road

Sakti Burman is fascinated with stories related to the lives of human beings, " the festivity of life, their innocent and learned games, friendship, dream, dance, love," which get translated onto the canvas. His images combine his inner reflections with the events around him and "mingle together to form an image full or colour, fantasy, designs, variety, fragments of stories, and at the same time, an invitation to silent, discreet and joyous contemplation of the realities."
