FIVE NEEDLEWORK OR TAPESTRY CUSHIONS
18th Century
Comprising: a pair of English gros point needlework cushions, woven with roses and other flowers on an ivory ground with later tasselled fringe, 12½ in. (31 cm.) high;
A pair of Aubusson tapestry fragments now converted into cushions, woven with ribbon-tied flowers on a cream ground and with red tasselled fringe, 14½ in. (37 cm.) diam.;
A Beauvais tapestry cushion woven with floral garlands including roses, narcissi and other flowers, later converted into a cushion with the addition of a tasselled fringe and ivory silk back, 20 in. (51 cm.) high
One pair: 12½ in. (31 cm.) high;
The other: 14½ in. (37 cm.) diameter
