Cross and feather-banded overall, the rectangular top above a moulded writing-slope enclosing a fitted walnut-lined interior, with four drawers flanking a central cupboard door and pigeon-holes, the door with elaborate engraved lacquered-brass escutcheon and above a well, the lower section with lopers and two short and two long graduated drawers, on shaped bracket feet, with Norman Adams label, restorations to front-right foot and interior door, the handles probably original, with one key, the sides with walnut veneer
