A Longton Hall cos lettuce leaf-moulded tureen, cover and a stand Circa 1755
The cover with cauliflower floret finial, the leaves edged in green and with raised veins, the stand similarly moulded with overlapping green and yellow-edged leaves, one with a purple flower-head (the base of the tureen cracked across and restored, the cover with small chips to rim and finial and some signs of mis-firing, the stand with a glaze fault to the leaf, minor rim chips)
The tureen 9¼ in. (23.5 cm.) wide, the stand 12 3/8 in. (31.5 cm.) wide (3)
