The sugar-vase, mark of Burrage Davenport, London, 1782, the sifting-spoon, mark of JBC&S, Birmingham, 1960
Vase shaped, on circular reeded pedestal foot, with beaded borders and two reeded handles, the body pierced with bands of scrolling foliage and rosettes, with a bright-cut floral garland and oval cartouche engraved with a crest of an eagle displayed on a mound, with blue glass liner, and associated modern sifting spoon, the vase marked on foot, the spoon marked on stem
6in. (15.5cm.) high
6oz. (205gr.) without liner
