CIRCA EARLY 1ST MILLENNIUM B.C.
With spout in the form of a large jar on its back, the head with small ears and short horns, vertical ridges for the dewlap and tail and two bosses on the back of the neck, decorated with groups of incised parallel lines, repaired with restoration

Provenance
Formerly in the Dubiner collection; the Canadian, Sam Dubiner, lived in Israel and formed a collection of ancient Persian ceramics between 1954-1958.
