With a standing figure in high relief, wearing long tunic, with hands together in front, a bangle on each wrist, pierced for attachment at either side of neck, details incised and eyes recessed for inlay

Excavated at Hayd ibn 'Aqil, the necropolis of Tamna', the capital of the ancient Qataban civilization: sold Christie's London, 12 July 1960, lot 107.
