A GROUP OF NINE EGYPTIAN GLAZED COMPOSITION AMULETS
THIRD INTERMEDIATE PERIOD/LATE PERIOD (1065-343 B.C.)
Comprising a green seated figure of Isis suckling Horus, wearing cow's horns and sun disc headdress, the throne supported on the back of two lions, 1¾ in. (4.5 cm.) high, a plaque of a falcon head surmounted by a sun disc, 1½ in. (3.8 cm.) high, a large green wedjat-eye with details in black, restored 'beard', 2½ in. (6.3 cm.) long, a striding figure of Tueris, 1 3/8 in. (3.5 cm.) high, a bright blue plaque with falcon profile in relief, 7/8 in. (2.3 cm.) high, a turquoise wadj-sceptre, 2 1/8 in. (5.4 cm.) high, a djed-pillar, 1½ in. (3.8 cm.) high, a uraeus, ¾ in. (2 cm.) high, and a recumbent ram, 7/8 in. (2.2 cm.) long; and a bronze cylindrical finial surmounted by the jackal god, Anubis, standing alert, Late Period (664-332 B.C.), 5¼ in. (13.3 cm.) high (10)
